What are the Classroom Games?
The Classroom Games are a team and rewards based initiative beyond the normal grading system of a classroom.
Since grades in my classroom are primarily reflected upon quizzes and test, the Classroom Games is where students will have the opportunity to shine in their behavior and effort, while not directly impacting their grades.

How were teams selected?
Teams were self-selected by the students during the first couple of days of classes. These teams will have no impact on students grades but instead provide assistance and motivation to each other to complete assignments, attend class, complete additional practice work, and perform to the best of their abilities.
How do teams earn points?
Teams will earn points through attendance initiatives, class behavior, alternative work, and grade goals. Each will have different point values that can be earned. No one team member can contribute more than 35% of the total team points. Additional points opportunities can be found here.
Can points be subtracted?
Points can be subtracted for negative classroom behavior by a teammate. This is the only way points can be subtracted.
What are the rewards?
The rewards will be determined by the teams, however may range from a homemade snack or dessert to lunch being provided to whatever else helps motivate my students!
